CATalog of the Week #7: A Rainbow's End

This week's CATalog theme is giftwrap, and is hot of the press (meaning it just came in today's mail)!

A Rainbow's End: Miniatures and Crafts offers 240 full-color all occasion 1" scale giftwraps, and also 240 all-color Holiday gift wraps....so that makes 480 wraps in all, many MINI presents!

I sent them $2.00 and a business-sized SASE just last week, and got the catalog (featuring ALL of the wrapping paper they sell) back lickety-split along with a sample sheet of 4 giftwraps, enough to wrap 10 1" scale gifts. Definitely a bargain! There are patterns here to please everyone, inluding hard-to-find Father's Day prints, Mother's Day Prints, New Baby prints, and even (I'm going to definitely order this one)...little dollhouse prints. A Rainbow's End also sells an assortment of 40 balsa boxes for a mere $4.35, a mini bow-maker for $6.50, and 1/16" wide STICKABLE (hear that, Darlene???) ribbon. How much for the giftwrap? Try 65 cents each!!!!! Each sheet features 4 kinds of wrap, and with one sheet you can wrap 10 gifts. With the holidays coming up, you'll want to be well-stocked!

A Rainbow's End is the only exclusive CATalog on gift wraps I've ever scene, and with a selection of 480 kinds, you can't beat the price. This CATalog gets a four paw rating. Send $2.00 and a business (#10) sized SASE to:

A Rainbow's End 226 Springhouse Drive Jefferson Boro, PA 15025.

But wait, there's more!!

Yes folks, this CATalog Review is not yet finished. We have our own giftwrap maker on the list...SANDI WEIDLER! Sandi's wrapping paper designs are simply adorable, and are her own original designs. If you've ever seen Sandi's artwork you'll know what I'm talking about. Sandi's gift wrap is available for $1 /sheet, and are worth every penny and more. And though I've raved about A Rainbow's End, above, I have to say that the quality and craftsmanship of Sandi's paper is even better, and that's the absolute truth. You can contact Sandi at sandiw@intereach.net for more info. (BTW, she has kitty paper...something the other CATalog doesn't! If that doesn't give you PAWS for approval, I don't know what will!)

One more thing...since the holidays are coming up, I'd like to offer all DH list members the opportunity to suggest themes for the CATalog of the week. Is there a mini CATalog featuring products you'd love to have, but can't seem to find? Or perhaps you are a crafter, and need more supplies? This CATalog Coordinator is open to suggestions, so fire away! I'll also be on the lookout for special Holiday items, including Christmas, Hannukah, and Kwanzaa. So keep watching for this column, and thank you for all your kind words, everyone. It mean so much to me that people are finding the minis they want.

P.S. Hi folks--forgot to mention that Sandi makes giftwrap in 1/2" and 1/4" scale too, while the Rainbow's End CATalog (though wonderful) is only 1". So Sandi might be precisely who you 1/2" and 1/4" scale lovers are looking for!

Janet, I'm still on the lookout for 1/2" scale CATalogs, BTW.

Have fun wrapping, everyone!!
